1 Who We Are
Vitalyze ("Vitalyze", "we", "us", "our") operates the Vitalyze health intelligence platform — a service for tracking physical health, mental wellness, and AI-powered personal insights.

2 Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — your name and email address when you join the waitlist or create an account.
- Health & biometric data — heart rate, HRV, sleep, SpO₂, steps, and other metrics from connected wearables, imported only with your explicit consent.
- Wellness data — mood logs, symptom entries, lab report uploads, and coaching session notes you choose to record.
- Usage data — features used and session duration, to improve the product. This data is aggregated and anonymised.
- Device data — IP address, browser type, and OS version, used for security and fraud prevention only.
We do not collect sensitive data (race, religion, political views, financial data) and never will.
3 How We Use Your Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Vitalyze platform.
- To generate your personalised AI health insights and VScore™ — processed on your behalf only, never shared with third parties for commercial use.
- To send transactional emails: waitlist confirmation, launch notifications, and product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.
- To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.
4 We Never Sell Your Data
🔒 We do not sell, rent, trade, or license your personal data or health data to any third party. Your health information is never used for advertising — by us or anyone else. This is a founding principle of Vitalyze, not a policy we can change later.
5 Data Sharing
We share your data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers who process data strictly on our behalf (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contractual data processing agreements that prohibit secondary use.
- Healthcare providers only when you explicitly share your Vitalyze Digital Health ID with them — you control this at all times.
- Legal requirements — if we receive a valid court order or are legally compelled to disclose data, we will notify you in advance whenever permitted by law.
6 Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3.
- All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- Health data access is role-restricted; only a minimal number of authorised staff can access it for support purposes.
- We conduct regular security reviews and penetration tests.
- In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by GDPR.
7 Your Rights
You have the following rights over your data. To exercise any of them, email hello@vitalyze.io — we respond within 30 days.
These rights apply to all users. EU/EEA residents have additional rights under GDPR. California residents have additional rights under CCPA.
8 Not Medical Advice
Vitalyze provides AI-powered health insights, peer wellness coaching, and biometric tracking for informational and wellness purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before making any medical decisions. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
9 Cookies
We use only:
- Essential cookies — required to keep you logged in and for basic site functionality.
- Analytics cookies — anonymous, aggregated data to understand how the product is used (e.g., which features are most popular). No cross-site tracking.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or any cookies that track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing core functionality.
10 Children's Privacy
Vitalyze is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at hello@vitalyze.io and we will delete it promptly.
11 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. For material changes — ones that affect how your data is used — we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Minor clarifications will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
Continuing to use Vitalyze after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
